The red libretto's Dramatis Personae

One of the areas that I think our newest game, the red libretto, will shine in is Character Design. Not visually(although it should look generally good), but more in the design of the personality and conversations of each character. To give a small spoiler of the game, I have decided to release the Dramatis Personae(or the list of characters), with all the major characters. I would make a longer one, but I would be afraid that it might spoil the game too much.

Dramatis Personae:
Sherman Bouchon - A good meaning detective with only a few days left to live. He’s charming and smart, but he isn’t the best at his job. Stays calm most of the time, but is generally passive aggressive and tends to take his anger out on patches of dirt.
Marilyn Fontane - A cryptic persona who seems to always want to talk about philosophy. She’s rich(self made) and stays at the hotel every night, and is usually the only customer. She’s cunning, clever, and definitely the smartest in the room, but has a strange form of Tourette’s syndrome that only comes up every 6 days, making her reveal most of what she knows.
Oscar Nye - A college dropout who desperately wants to join Bouchon in his investigations. He assumes that Sherman is richer than he is. Has anemophobia(or the fear of air).
Faith Toulaine - A talented musician, but terrible illustrator, Faith manages to know everything that has gone on, but she is illiterate, mute, and can’t understand any sounds except for music so her music and clock are her best way of communication to you.
Robert Mulkovich - A boisterous personality, always wanting to be the center of attention. He owns half of the hotel and runs the bar, creating a large assortment of drinks out of the materials they have. He’s creative, but everything he writes or talks about always leans dark and will eventually force him to stop in the middle of a sentence before revealing a secret about himself. Doesn’t know when to shut his mouth.
Winston Ash - Faith Toulaine’s nephew, known as ‘vinegar boy’ for ‘know apparent reasons’. He stays under Faith Toulaine’s care, but he spends most of his time away from the hotel and exploring the area around it. He is the most physically gifted out of all the cast, being an exceptional climber and a good kayaker. Struggles with constant speech stutters.
Radish Potemkin - The oddly named Radish Potemkin is a cinephile who intensely studies almost every film ever made and draws conclusions about their meanings, writing them down in her journals. She deals with some anger issues. She has aspergers, but she doesn't know yet.
Joseph Eisenberg - Joseph Eisenberg, Rich, Charming, but hated by many, is murdered after an adventurous life at the Fontane hotel.
Ronin Bronte - Runs the hotel. Arrogant, boisterous, and probably shouldn’t be running the hotel, but he still has some heart to himself that only shows in certain moments. A smoking gun, that when too hot, cools down in order to work again.
Gertrude Bronte - The wife of Ronin Bronte who also runs the hotel. She is much more welcoming than bronte, but has been found to let out all her passive anger into a punching bag or a microphone. Deals with phone calls and most of the financials.
Andrew Fortune - The only chef at the hotel’s restaurant, which tends to be the nicest man at the hotel, which tends to be annoying to the rest of the hotel’s employees and guests. He seems to be the perfect guess, but he occasionally rubs in his ‘kindness’ to the other employees too much.
Mrs. Eldridge - An odd human, her first name remains unknown too many, as with many other things as she continues to fret about places after the death of her husband that happened 400 years ago. She doesn’t stay at the hotel, but she lives fairly close and enjoys all the amenities, as if she was a guest.
Wicked Aunt Margaret - The aunt of Ronin Bronte. Basically acts as the grandmother to the long-term hotel residents and faculty. She is very, very affluent but still has a kind heart once people get to know her. All the children do not like her, giving her the name Wicked Aunt Margaret, because of how much time she spends by herself or in the library. Has a lot of ‘lore’ around her, mostly made by the children.
